Instead of just disabling dialogue, the dialogue added by those mods now still plays, but only during the Dawnguard quests (as to enrich Laura Bailey's voice pool but not creating a jarring experience for the user outside of those quests). The progression of this content is almost entirely experienced through dialogue with Serana along the Dawnguard journey. - Added in an option to equip Serana's default outfit again in the Serana Outfit Menu. If you've been having problems with the quest, this bugfix update should fix it for sure. Serana had issues sleeping just in that one inn (even though it had a double bed), because of the Ghost of Old Hroldan quest and how it edited the double-bed ref for its functionality. This happens later in the Dawnguard questline so it's good for roleplay. These new lines are also faction-aware, so Serana will have different responses based on whether or not you're part of a particular group in Skyrim. Now they should act as regular 'hello' greetings. - More subtitle fixes, especially for some font characters which may sometimes display as square boxes, - Serana or other NPCs which have banter with her won't initiate their scenes when the player is currently in dialogue (Requires SKSE). This was done since a lot of players go there early in Dawnguard - where the relationship mechanic (and its succeeding dialogue) may not have been unlocked yet. - Main Quest commentary completely redone with more immersive and extensive dialogue for each stage of it. - Cure Dialogue Rewrite + Expansion. To see it, and for immersion-sake, talk to Serana RIGHT BEFORE entering the haunted house. Martimius ported the overhaul to Xbox in June, and updated it on both platforms. Update Notes for the 2.2 Update, Mages, Romance, and Misfits. - The "Kjarah" name was using a voice file with the wrong pronunciation. - Disabled one of the post-Harkon fight dialogues, as these have now been largely superceded by the addition of the Serana romance. Improved pacing and tone of the "Trust" conversation by cutting unnecessary lines that made the conversation a bit melodramatic. - You can now change how far or near you want Serana to travel along with you! The "Trust" conversation is gated behind the Serana Romance as this is a very personal topic that more thematically makes sense with the Serana Romance friendship/lover development. For now it's just about her dad but more topics to come for the next release. Serana will also tend to initiate the conversation with you about how she feels on current Main Quest-related events. She will react positively to alcohol, flowers, and high value items- but negatively to the rest. This was an oversight - and partly why the retoggle patch was delayed until 3.3 (since the bloodcursed arrows dialogue was not fully disabled back then). More extensive quests (like those that have quest rewards- The Date at the Banned mare for example) still are logged. Serana should now properly sleep in any inn with a rentable double bed (The Bannered Mare, Winking Skeever, Braidwood Inn, Old Hroldan Inn, Dead Man's Drink, Moorside Inn)! This patch was made to ensure players who followed those deities via the Wintersun mod could still accrue favor with them , while being "married" to Serana. This is to prevent narrative whiplash; like how Serana could comment on your romance when the Archmage just died. Some good stuff- primarily the fact that you're now able to romance Serana. - Tweaked injured dialogue to have it occur more frequently, - Serana should no longer repeat her angry dialogue after Ustengrav, should the player have chosen the angry choice as well, - Serana should no longer comment on the Ancestor Glade if she's never been there yet. - Script fixes for some Serana wait stuff, like whenever she's called to wait when the Dawnguard questline tells her not to. It's intended for her to stop her headtracking and just look forward, which works sometimes. Between Bethesda.net and Nexus Mods, the Serana Dialogue Add-On has been downloaded upwards of 180,000 times. The revoice will be done in reverse order- with the final revoice parts being the first Dawnguard quests.
